Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the iconic massage that most people think of when they imagine a massage. The purpose of these massages is to relax your body and to melt away stress. These spa services can be the perfect way to relax after a long week or to make your vacation extra special.
Your masseuse makes this possible with long smooth strokes that move in the same direction as the blood going back to your heart. The massage therapist also uses circular motions, kneading movements, and percussion like tapping to help you achieve the most benefits from this experience.
After just a 50-minute massage, you experience a drop in cortisol (a stress hormone) and arginine vasopressin (a hormone that increases cortisol). At the same time, your number of white blood cells should increase and give a boost to your immune system. The process reduces toxins, improves circulation, and eases tension.
To make the most of your massage, let your massage therapist know what feels good, if you want attention in any particular areas, or if you want more or less pressure. However, don’t feel pressured into communicating. If everything feels perfect, just relax.

Oligomer Swedish Massage

This replenishing massage uses traditional Swedish massage techniques, but it combines that with Oligomer oils. Oligomer oils contain ingredients from the ocean, like seaweed. This spa treatment helps to release pain, nourish, restructure, and remineralize your skin, and the Oligomer products feel light and nice to the touch. In addition to receiving all the benefits of a Swedish massage, you also get a refreshing skin treatment that leads to smoother, softer skin.

Swedish Massage With Reflexology

Reflexology is the perfect accompaniment to a Swedish massage. Although sometimes confused with massage, reflexology is a separate art. Based on the idea that parts of your hands, feet, and ears are linked to different parts of your body, reflexology involves putting pressure on key areas to relax or heal other parts of your body.
On its own, reflexology can help with pain relief and improve the healing process. It helps to remove toxins from your body, while stimulating your nervous system and improving your circulation. When you combine this therapy with Swedish massage, you get a truly relaxing experience that is also rejuvenating and has measurable health benefits. You get all the large motions associated with Swedish massage as well as the small and precise movements associated with reflexology.
